Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is an action-adventure video game developed by Big Red Button, and published by Sega for the Wii U platform in 2014.
The game begins with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy resting on Seaside Island. However, they soon discover that the island is threatened by Lyric, an ancient dragon seeking to awaken a giant monster.
Players will control Sonic and his companions to stop Lyric. The game features standard action-adventure gameplay, with new elements such as each character’s ability to use different tools and weapons.
Sonic can use his speed and strength to defeat enemies. Tails can use their planes to fly and fire missiles. Knuckles can use his powers to destroy obstacles. Amy can use her hammer to attack enemies from afar.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric received negative reviews from critics, with criticism focusing on the graphics, gameplay, and story. However, the game still sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
