Rayman Origins is a 2D platformer video game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft in 2011. It is the first installment in the Rayman series since 2003’s Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.
In Rayman Origins, players control Rayman and his friends, Globox and Teensies, on their journey to defeat Darktoons and save Bubble Dreamer. The game has more than 60 levels, each level has different obstacles, enemies, and secrets for players to discover.
Rayman Origins was critically acclaimed, with praise for its graphics, music, and gameplay. It has won numerous awards, including E3 2011’s Best Game Award and IGN’s Best Game of the Year Award.
The PlayStation Vita version of Rayman Origins was released in 2012. This version includes exclusive features such as Ghost mode, which allows players to review their path, and Multi-Touch mode which allows players to Use the touch screen to control Rayman.
