Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is a visual novel game in the murder mystery genre. The game was developed and published by Spike Chunsoft for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 in 2017.
The plot of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony revolves around 16 elite students chosen to attend a special school called Hope’s Peak Academy. However, they quickly discover that they have been trapped in a murder game, and the killer will go unpunished if they are not discovered.
Players will take on the role of Kaede Akamatsu, one of 16 students. The player’s mission is to explore crime scenes, collect clues, and present their arguments in impeachment trials. If the player can prove the killer, they will survive until tomorrow. However, if the player cannot, they will be condemned and eliminated from the game.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony was highly appreciated by critics thanks to its engaging storyline, interesting characters, and novel gameplay. The game has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide.
