In 1997, Givro Corporation developed and Enix released Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari for the Sega Saturn. The game takes place on a mysterious island. The player takes on the role of Gaūpu, a dragon. Gaūpu’s mission is to meet the island’s inhabitants and harness the seven legendary winds. These will help Gaūpu overcome obstacles.
Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari is a graphic adventure game. The player controls Gaūpu moving through the stages on the island. During the game, the player interacts with the character, collects items, and solves puzzles to progress the story. The “wind” system is a unique element of the game. Seven different winds will assist the player in solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles.
