The game is set in the Mushroom Kingdom, where Mario and Luigi are celebrating Princess Peach’s birthday when suddenly, Bowser appears and kidnaps her. Mario and Luigi, along with their new friend, Geno, set out to rescue the princess and stop Bowser from taking over the kingdom.
