Sonic Mega Collection is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. The game is a collection of six classic Sonic the Hedgehog games, from Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) to Sonic & Knuckles (1994).
The game has single-player and multiplayer modes. In single-player mode, players can play through the six games in any order they wish. Multiplayer mode allows up to two players to compete against each other in time trials or rounds.
