Kirby Super Star is a platform video game developed and published by HAL Laboratory for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1993. It is the fifth game in the Kirby series.
The game is set in Dream Land, where Kirby, a pink spherical creature, lives peacefully. However, one day, Dream Land was attacked by a mysterious invader named Galactic Nova. Kirby must use his powers to defeat Nova and save Dream Land.
The game has six game modes, each with its storyline and gameplay. In the main mode, Kirby must save Dream Land from King Dedede and Meta Knight. Extra Mode includes more difficult levels and new playable characters. Milky Way Wishes mode is a modified version of the main mode with new levels and additional challenges.
