Inazuma Eleven is a series of role-playing soccer games developed and published by Level-5 for the Nintendo DS. The series began with Inazuma Eleven, released in 2008 in Japan and 2009 in Europe and North America. Six sequels followed, with the latest, Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin, released in 2018.
Inazuma Eleven is set in Japan and follows a group of high school students who form a soccer team to challenge the best teams in the country.
The series tells the story of a group of young teenagers who form a soccer team to participate in the Inazuma Eleven tournament. Players can use special powers, called “Inazuma Skills”, to help them score goals and win matches.
Inazuma Eleven games are often highly praised for their gameplay, story, and visuals. The series has been released worldwide and has sold more than 20 million copies globally.
