Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble! is a 1996 platform video game developed by Rare, and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It is the third installment in the Donkey Kong Country series and a sequel to Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest.
In the game, the player controls Dixie Kong and Diddy Kong, along with a new friend Kiddy Kong, to rescue Donkey Kong from Baron K. Roolenstein, who kidnapped him to obtain the secrets of K-O-N-G.
The game takes place in the land of Krematoa, a tropical island full of secrets and dangers. Players will have to overcome obstacles, fight enemies, and solve puzzles to advance.
The game also introduces several new characters, including Kiddy Kong, a small monkey with the ability to jump high; Baron K. Roolenstein, a clone of K. Rool; and the Kremling Krew, a new group of enemies.
