Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Oddworld Inhabitants and published by GT Interactive. It is a sequel to Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and was released for PlayStation in 1998.
Abe, a Mudokon, escaped from the RuptureFarms factory in the previous game. Now he learns that Glukkons, owner of RuptureFarms, is mining Necrum, the sacred city of the Mudokon, for bones as ingredients for the addictive SoulStorm beer. Abe must once again set out to rescue his people.
Abe’s Exoddus has similar gameplay to Oddysee but with many improvements and new additions. The player controls Abe as he moves through levels, solves puzzles, dodges enemies, and uses his psychic abilities to control other Mudokons. The game has many hidden secrets for players to discover.
Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus is an excellent action-adventure game with engaging gameplay, beautiful graphics, and impressive sound. The game was highly appreciated by critics and received many awards.
