Rayman 2 Forever, also known as Rayman 2 in North America, is a platform video game developed and published by UbiSoft in 2000 for the Game Boy Color. It is a sequel to Rayman on the Game Boy Color, and a port of Rayman 2: The Great Escape for the Nintendo 64, PlayStation, and Dreamcast.
In the game, Rayman must save the Enchanted Forest from Globox, an evil frog that has kidnapped the Electoons, the forest’s energy source. Rayman will have to overcome many different challenges, including climbing, jumping over obstacles, fighting enemies, and solving puzzles.
The gameplay of Rayman 2 Forever is similar to Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Rayman can run, jump, hit, and use his special abilities to overcome challenges. However, due to Game Boy Color’s hardware limitations, the game has had some content cut compared to the original version.
Rayman 2 received positive reviews from critics. They praised the beautiful graphics, catchy music, and engaging gameplay. However, they also criticized the game for its lack of creativity and high difficulty.
