Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is an action-adventure game developed by Retro Studios, and published by Nintendo for the GameCube in 2004. It is the sequel to 2002’s Metroid Prime and the second installment in the Metroid Prime trilogy.
The game is set on the planet Aether, a parallel world of Tallon IV. Players control Samus Aran, a female bounty hunter, as she investigates the disappearance of a Galactic Federation expedition team.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes brings a number of improvements over its predecessor. The game features a more open world, with many different environments to explore. It also features an improved combat system, with many new weapons and abilities.
