GladMort is an action-platformer inspired by classic video games. You will play as an unwilling anti-hero, facing the zombie disaster in a kingdom plunged into chaos by the “Red Plague” – a disease that raises the dead and demons appear everywhere.
Dark story in the retro world
In a distant land, an unknown epidemic has caused the dead to rise. For several months, the undead army commanded by the Dark Lord has devastated the villages, plunging the kingdom into despair. When all hope is lost, a strange warrior stands up – not the chosen hero, but the last survivor with… nothing left to lose.
Fight in 5 bloody levels
Players will have to overcome 5 harsh levels, each with its own boss and enemies that only appear in typical terrain. Use the double jump to avoid traps, overcome obstacles and reach strategic locations on the map.
A “naked” survival system
There is no long health bar – in GladMort, you can only take two hits. The first time, you lose your armor and… continue fighting in your underwear! If you get hit again, the character will lose a life and return to the beginning of the level or the nearest checkpoint. That simplicity creates extremely thrilling moments – one mistake, pay with a life.
A nostalgic but challenging style
GladMort has a classic pixel art style, but the gameplay is not “easy to play, easy to win”. Every jump, every hit requires careful calculation. In particular, the fact that you can only take two hits makes the game truly retro.
GladMort is not the journey of a legendary hero, but rather a lone man’s fight for survival – lost, crazy, and holding on. Can you survive the zombie apocalypse and prevent the apocalypse?
