As the world slides toward its end, VIRTUAL GIRL @ WORLD’S END chooses to tell a different story: of girls who continue to pursue their dreams amidst the ashes. The visual novel from Bushiroad takes players to Tokyo in 2055, where war, crisis, and despair reign in every corner. But in the midst of this darkness, a voice rings out: “Hello world! I am Ai from Vstar!” – a vibrant declaration from a soul that still longs to shine.

A Tokyo without color

The once-bright city is now reduced to darkness and nostalgia. In this post-apocalyptic setting, intelligent young girls are trained to perform and broadcast live to the remaining community. They are judged, ranked, and crushed by the pressures of a dying society. Yet, amidst the eyes that gradually dim with fatigue, there is still light – Ai, Rinka, the girls who continue to sing, continue to live, and continue to give hope to anyone who still follows them.

An emotional visual novel

VIRTUAL GIRL @ WORLD’S END does not possess fast-paced action gameplay, but captivates with its emotional storytelling. Players will accompany a diverse cast of female characters, each carrying an unfulfilled dream. You will choose, observe, and feel the smallest changes in the relationships between the girls, between them and the invisible audience on the other side of the screen. It is these details that create valuable psychological depth – something rare in games of the same genre.

Iconic art design

Under the hands of Osamu Nobusawa – the man behind the visual style of BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, the game world is both dreamy and haunting. The dark tones of Tokyo are contrasted with the girls’ clear, almost surreal images. Every expression, glance, and small gesture is detailed, making the player feel like they are witnessing the story unfolding before their eyes.

A Symphony of Music and Belief

The emotional center of the game is the music. The theme song Hi-Vision by Mugendai Mewtype is not just background music – it is an affirmation of the game’s message: that even in a world of ruins, there is still a voice singing for something beautiful. With the participation of talented voice actors such as Azusa Tachibana, Aina Suzuki, and Aguri Onishi, each scene comes to life and easily touches the player’s emotions.
