Aooni: The Horror of Blueberry Onsen is a completely new version of the legendary horror game Ao Oni, taking players on a terrifying survival journey amidst echoing moans and unsolved mysteries. No longer the old mansion as before, this time the blue haunting creeps into the Blueberry hot spring – a place once famous for its rumored “beauty spring” but now abandoned and associated with the name “full of ghosts”.

A creepy story is reborn
The hot spring inn that was once crowded with guests is now only ruins and darkness. Hiroshi and his group of friends including Takeshi, Mika and Takuro come here to film a video for the channel “Mika Channel”, but instead of getting interesting content, they face a lurking blue nightmare. Since meeting the mysterious man and the girl named Ai, strange phenomena begin to occur. The question gradually emerges: what is the Blueberry Hot Springs really, and what blue demon is waiting for them in the deepest place?
Solve puzzles and escape in suffocating fear
Unlike conventional horror games, Aooni combines action and puzzle elements, forcing players to run away while using their intelligence to unlock passages, decipher secrets and find a way to survive. The breathtaking chases with Ao Oni always make you restless, especially when you don’t know which door the next demon might be hiding behind. Every wrong move could be your last.
Comprehensive upgrade, fear also “levels up”
The new version brings a series of unprecedented improvements to the Ao Oni series. Now, you can chat with characters, play co-op with friends and even turn on the chat function to share clues. Not only that, many new monster variations appear, from the familiar blue demon to the haunting human-dog form, making every encounter a new experience. If you thought you were familiar with Ao Oni, think again.
Speed and challenge pushed to the limit
Another interesting point is the High Speed Mode, which allows you to speed up the game up to 16 times. You will have to react faster, solve puzzles more urgently and observe more carefully if you do not want to be caught up in a split second. Combined with the online ranking system, Aooni: The Horror of Blueberry Onsen turns the individual game into a speedy and strategic arena, where you fight not only against monsters but also against your own limits.
