Ys: Memories of Celceta is an action role-playing game developed by Falcom, and published by Nihon Falcom and Xseed Games. It was released for the PlayStation Vita in 2013 in Japan, and in 2014 in North America and Europe.
In Ys: Memories of Celceta, players take on the role of Adol Christin, a young swordsman traveling the world. He went to the island of Celceta, where he was found to have lost his memory. Adol soon discovers that he is one of the survivors of a plane crash, and he begins his journey to find the others who have survived and solve the mystery of the island.
The game uses the traditional action role-playing gameplay of the Ys series. The player controls Adol as he fights against enemies, explores the world, and solves puzzles. The game features a time-based combat system in which the player must press corresponding buttons to perform attacks and dodges.
Ys: Memories of Celceta was highly praised by critics, especially for its engaging action gameplay and large explorable world. The game has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide.
