Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a stealth action game developed by Kojima Productions, and published by Konami for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). It is the fourth installment in the Metal Gear Solid series released on the PSP.
Set in 1974, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker revolves around the adventures of Naked Snake (Big Boss) and his group “Soldiers Without Frontiers” (MSF) in Costa Rica. Their goal is to prevent a plot to use nuclear weapons during the Costa Rican Civil War.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker combines the traditional stealth elements of the Metal Gear Solid series with new real-time tactical elements. The player controls Big Boss and can command his MSF teammates to assist in missions.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker received critical acclaim and is considered one of the best PSP games of all time. The game has won many awards, including the VGX Award for Best Handheld Game of 2010.
