Trials of Mana is an action role-playing game developed by Square Enix and released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1995. It is the third installment in the Mana series, following Final Fantasy Adventure and Seiken Densetsu 2.
The game is set in the world of Mana, where there are four elements: Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. Players will choose one of three main characters: Duran, Angela, or Kevin, and together explore the world, fight monsters, and find a way to stop an evil force that is threatening the world.
Trials of Mana is a traditional action role-playing game. Players will control their characters to participate in turn-based battles. During the battle, the player can use physical attacks, magic, and special skills to defeat enemies.
Trials of Mana features 2D graphics and music composed by Hiroki Kikuta. Trials of Mana was highly praised by critics and is considered one of the best role-playing games on the SNES.
