Sonic Colors is an action-adventure video game developed by Dimps and published by Sega for the Nintendo DS in 2010. It is the 16th installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
In the game, Sonic the Hedgehog must stop Dr. Eggman from taking over a new world called Planet Wisp. Planet Wisp is a chromatic planet created by the Wisps, a race of tiny creatures capable of transforming into different forms.
Sonic can use the power of the Wisps to gain special abilities, such as flying, swimming quickly, or passing through walls. The game has a total of 16 levels, each level has a unique Wisp.
Sonic Colors received positive reviews from critics, with praise for the graphics, gameplay, and music. The game has sold more than 3.5 million copies worldwide.
