Pokémon Ultra Moon is an action role-playing game developed by Game Freak, and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for Nintendo 3DS. It is the sequel to Pokémon Sun and Moon released in 2016. The game was released in 2017 in Japan, North America, Europe and Australia.
The game is set in the Alola region, a remote tropical archipelago. Players take on the role of a young Pokémon trainer who sets out on a journey to become the best Pokémon trainer. Along the way, they will meet other trainers, collect new Pokémon, and discover the mysteries of the Alola region.
