Pokémon SoulSilver Version is an action role-playing game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It was released for the Nintendo DS in 2010 in Japan, North America, Australia and Europe. It is the sequel to the Pokémon HeartGold Version and the sixth installment in the Pokémon game series.
The game is set in the Johto region, based on the Kansai region of Japan. Players control a young Pokémon trainer as they embark on their journey to become a Pokémon Champion. Along the way, they will face many opponents, including the Elite Four, the strongest Pokémon trainers in the region.
