Kirby Air Ride is an action racing game developed by HAL Laboratory, and published by Nintendo for the GameCube in 2003. The game allows players to control Kirby or several other characters from the Kirby franchise.
In Time Trial, players try to complete a race in the shortest time possible. Grand Prix is a competitive mode consisting of multiple races, with players competing for the overall victory. City Trial is a sandbox mode that allows players to explore a large city and complete missions.
The game has three different Kirby vehicles to choose from: Warp Star, Air Ride Machine, and UFO. Each vehicle type has different capabilities and speeds.
Kirby Air Ride received positive reviews from critics, with the majority praising the graphics, gameplay, and music. The game has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling GameCube games.
