Killer7 is a third-person action shooter game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Capcom for the GameCube in 2005. The game was directed by Suda51 and written by Shinji Mikami.
In Killer7, players take on the role of Harman Smith, an elderly man suffering from schizoid personality disorder. Each of Smith’s personalities represents one of the seven assassins, each with their own unique abilities and powers. The player can switch between these personalities to solve puzzles and complete objectives.
The game is set in a futuristic world plagued by violence and crime. Smith is tasked with stopping a secret organization plotting to destroy the world.
Killer7 was praised for its unique gameplay, strange storyline, and gothic art. The game has won multiple awards, including the Interationale d’Animation de Montréal Arts Award for Best Game, and the IGN Gamer Award for Most Unique Game.
